Comfort Inn (Dryden) was an adequate experience. We only stayed one day which is what we required. The entire ensuite was clean and neatly organized. There was a sufficient amount of towels and the room was well-lit. There was a coffee-maker, microwave, desk/chair, free wifi (standard stuff). The staff was very pleasant/professional. Only down side was a faint musty smell in the room and out the door. And the a/c compressor for that particular room seemed to be failing. That being said the overall experience was good enough for what we required.
We stayed at the comfort Inn all the way on our trip. On our return the price had almost doubled. I asked why and the front desk said it was because it is busy and most of the rooms were booked so they increased the prices. I call this pure price gouging.I have dealt with Comfort Inn for many but now they will no longer be my hotel of choice. Service was no better
Friendly staff. Older hotel, renovated but still some signs of the age (old brass door knobs, many coats of pain). Over all, pleasant experience. Comfortable bed, sofa, and desk chair. AC worked great!
Staff were pushy and unfriendly, rooms were over-priced. We're on the road driving from western SK to eastern ON and needed and early morning start, went into the freely provided breakfast area (I will admit it was 5am) and I was met by an extremely rude front end attendant. I was greeted with an attitude filled "can I help you with something?" That felt more like "Why the F*** are you here?" I explained I was just looking for a bagel or a bowl of cereal and I was briskly told that there's nothing she could do (more like nothing she was willing to do).At 170 a night there's something you can do.The rooms were updated but the showers were cheaply done.Won't be returning.
Stayed 1 night at the Comfort Inn and can say I would recommend to all my friends and family coming to Dryden for any reason. Brought my dog to be neutered and once picked up from the vet he was not himself and howling / whining from the anaesthetics. Staff at the hotel were very understanding, and allowed us to check in WAY early (11:30 am) which was very appreciated. The staff genuinely seem like they want to be at the hotel and were so kind to us through this experience. Will stay here again, and I look forward to!!!
